Our Story...
Spikeows began as a manufacturer of timber garden buildings, crafting sheds, summerhouses, and outdoor structures. As demand grew for high-quality materials at competitive prices, we expanded into importing and supplying premium timber, composite, rubber, and UPVC to shed and garden room manufacturers across the UK.
At one point, we paused manufacturing entirely to focus on delivering timber nationwide—from small trade packs to full artic loads for major manufacturers.
However, post-COVID, the timber market shifted rapidly—shrinking margins, price fluctuations, and increased competition made it less viable. This led to a major pivot in our business:
✔ We now only supply timber in full artic loads (minimum £60,000 per month).
✔ We reintroduced manufacturing, but with a new focus—Composite Garden Rooms, which we believe are the future of outdoor buildings.

✔ Helical Screw Technology – Designed to cut into and compact the soil, ensuring incredible strength and stability.
✔ Houses can be built on these systems – Each screw is stress-tested up to 7,000kg.
✔ No timber touching the ground – A 5×2 C24 UC4 treated timber frame sits on top, eliminating rot risks.
✔ No concrete to crack or shift – Unlike traditional bases, our system adapts to ground movement for long-term stability.
✔ Precision leveling – We use a dumper level system to ensure a perfectly level base every time.
